You can tone them both down some, if you like, with the MCM. I use both of these together, with pretty wild results.
(Not to be confused with the surface spawn portion of Genesis Unleashed, which deals only with the exteriors of the dungeons.) There is also Genesis Surface Spawns Leveled (or Unleveled) which does the same thing for the roads and wilds of Skyrim. Unleashed can also populate mod-added dungeons.) Instead of that version of Genesis, look for the newer version Genesis Unleashed Leveled (or unleveled.one keeps enemies near your level, the other spawns who knows what.
